Watch a classic episode of Soul Train featuring Al Green on the Centric TV network!

According to TV listings on AOL.com and Comcast's Fancast.com:
Al Green performs "Sha-La-La (Make Me Happy)," "L-O-V-E (Love)," "God Blessed Our Love" and "Take Me to the River."

This episode of "Soul Train" originally aired April 5, 1975.

Air dates and times:
Friday, February 12, 2010 @ 7:00 PM Eastern
Saturday, February 13, 2010 @ 12:00 PM Eastern
Saturday, February 13, 2010 @ 6:00 PM Eastern

NOTE: Previously in November 2009, the episode description in the TV listings was different from the Soul Train episode with Al Green which actually aired on the Centric network. Therefore, the episode is subject to change.

The TV schedule on CentricTV.com has been updated since my Feb. 10 post and currently shows:

Friday, February 12th - 7:00 - 8:00p Soul Train "Al Green"
Saturday, Feb. 13th - 12:00 - 1:00p Soul Train "Stevie Wonder"
Saturday, Feb. 13th - 6:00 - 7:00p Soul Train "Stevie Wonder"

I don't receive the Centric channel, but I know that Centric usually repeats the Friday night episode of Soul Train twice on Saturdays. I heard that a Soul Train episode featuring Stevie Wonder aired last weekend. So is this schedule incorrect? I'll check back later to see if they update the TV listings for Saturday on CentricTV.com.

If anybody watches Soul Train on Centric this weekend, please let us know which episode of Al Green aired.

A friend told me last night (Friday) Centric aired the 1973 "Soul Train" episode featuring Al Green and Mel & Tim. So it's not the 1975 episode described in the TV listings.

Al Green performs "You Ought to be with Me," "For the Good Times" and "Love and Happiness."
Mel & Tim perform "Starting All Over Again" and "I May Not Be What You Want."

Also Centric updated their TV scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13:

Saturday, Feb. 13th - 12:00 - 1:00p Soul Train "Al Green"
Saturday, Feb. 13th - 6:00 - 7:00p Soul Train "Al Green"
