Musical Praise Part 2

Call Me

"The year is 1979. The city, Cincinnati. It might be a night like most other nights were it not for the fact that Al Green is appearing in concert. Al Green by now is no longer affiliated with Hi Records. Instead, he is owner of his own studio where, in 1977, he recorded the critically-acclaimed Belle, featuring it's astonishingly poignant title track and the driving funk of "Chariots of Fire," and in 1978 Truth n' Time was recorded, another strong outing that includes a surprising cover of "To Sir With Love." On this particular evening, Al is mixing his latest grooves with the time-honored classics his fans will not let him forget when he slips from the stage, miraculously avoiding serious injury. Al interprets the event as a sign from God to retire from secular music.
